All offer picture-perfect locations mixed with intriguing cultures, and a diversity of atmosphere ranging from exotic and vibrant to peaceful and traditional. If you're looking to travel long-haul, Australia is a stunning country with a comfortably familiar feel.
Of course, you can always combine your relaxing on the beach with other activities including water sports, cultural tours and nightlife - the options are endless!
Make sure you don't forget about Europe when making your beach holiday choices. Spain remains a perfect sun and sea holiday destination - a short distance away with resorts specifically designed to cater for family groups, offering a wealth of fun activities. Due to the country's volume tourist industry, prices can be very reasonable - even for higher-end options.
For luxury you can't beat France's Côte d'Azur, famous as a playground for the rich and famous, with perfect beaches and magnificent seaside towns.
