A little about me
I began my journey with Flitch Travel at our Great Dunmow shop and am now thrilled to be the cheerful manager of our Ongar branch. It's been incredibly rewarding to be part of our Ongar family from the very start, nurturing its growth, and warmly welcoming so many amazing new customers!
I’m passionate about getting to know our clients and creating bespoke luxury travel experiences that go far beyond just booking holidays. There’s something so special about being a part of someone’s journey - especially getting just as excited about my clients’ holidays as they are!
I love finding the perfect destination and crafting a trip that exceeds expectations, making lasting memories that you know people will cherish forever! In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, a good glass of prosecco, finding new brunch spots to share with friends, and getting outside whenever the sun is shining!
Most memorable holiday?
It has to be Mauritius, as it was my honeymoon! The white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the incredible hospitality made it feel like paradise. Snorkelling in the coral reefs, swimming with dolphins, and exploring the lush island landscapes was an experience I'll never forget!
Where to next?
I’ve been lucky enough to visit some incredible destinations - from the bustling streets of New York City to the tropical beaches of Mexico, but I’m so excited for my upcoming trips to Thailand and South Africa! Thailand’s mix of vibrant city life, stunning beaches, and rich culture has always fascinated me, and a safari in South Africa has been a dream of mine for years! Being a huge animal lover, I can't wait to experience the wildlife up close!!
Top travel tip?
Always research local customs before you go! I found this particularly useful on my recent visits to Abu Dhabi and Marrakesh, where understanding local customs really helped me get the most out of my experience. Plus, it makes itinerary planning and packing so much easier!
If I had to pick one destination…
Such a hard question - I love researching different countries and planning trips with plenty to see and do, especially self-drive adventures. The USA, Canada, and South Africa are fantastic for this, with incredible road trip routes, national parks, and bucket list experiences!
If I had to choose just one destination, I think it would have to be Mauritius—it’s a perfect mix of luxury, adventure, and relaxation. It will always be such a special place to me, and I love sharing my personal experiences to help others create their dream trip there.
