After being at stay-at-home mum for 20 years, dabbling in various roles whilst raising my three children, I decided that I wanted to get back into the travel industry. I decided to take the leap and it’s been the best decision I’ve made.

The travel industry is never the same two days in a row. And I love that. Every client, every trip and every destination offers something new. I enjoy the challenge of finding the perfect holiday and learning about places I might never have considered otherwise. There is something rewarding about helping someone plan a trip that will change their perspective or bring them joy.

Most memorable holiday?

My first family holiday abroad - C’an Pastilla, Majorca - with my Mum, Dad, and Nan. I was seven years old, and it was a real treat to go overseas as most of our holidays were in the UK. We flew with Dan Air (known as Dan Dare!) to Palma and stayed at the El Cid hotel for a week’s break. The looky-looky man selling bird whistles rings a bell as this really annoyed my Dad! I fondly remember the flamingo dancers, the paella, ice cream, and the glorious sunshine.

Where to next?

I’ve had the pleasure of helping clients find their perfect holidays to the Caribbean. The Caribbean has definitely made its way onto my bucket list, and I can’t wait to experience it firsthand.
