With so many Caribbean islands to choose from, there’s something to offer every discerning traveler. Every Caribbean island is unique, with a variety of landscapes, cuisine, nightlife, vacation activities, languages and events. Island locals are famously hospitable and the smiling service is as much a Caribbean icon as the romantic beach sunsets.

The Caribbean islands boast many in-house hotel spa treatments and luxury spa resorts, which combined with the weather, beaches and easy-going lifestyle make this part of the world ideal to take some time out. St. Lucia in particular is a serene island that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway.

BARBADOS HOLIDAYS

Home to the Platinum coast which is called ‘home’ by many A-list celebrities, there is more to this island than white sands and turquoise seas. It’s where deep caverns and monkey-populated forests abound against the setting of rocky cliffs and, as an independent nation within the British Commonwealth, English traditions like high-tea and cricket reign supreme. Must do: join the locals every Friday night to eat, drink, dance and party the night away at Oistins Friday Fish Fry.

ST LUCIA HOLIDAYS

The iconic Pitons paint a dramatic backdrop to St Lucia’s forested mountains and pretty bays, inviting you in to experience the island’s natural beauty. Often touted as one of the world’s most romantic destinations, St Lucia has long been a favourite with couples and honeymooners and there is nothing quite so blissful as walking hand in hand on the beach in St Lucia! Must do: take a helicopter to your hotel, soar over tiny villages and experience a thrilling view of this lush, mountainous island.

ANTIGUA HOLIDAYS

Antigua is laid back and ideal for relaxation or exploration. Its crystal clear waters teem with marine life and coral encrusted shipwrecks, providing excellent conditions for shallow diving and snorkelling. Must do: visit Shirley Heights, a romantic spot to watch the sun sets over the harbour. On Sundays it becomes a popular party spot, the beat getting louder as you sip traditional rum punch and feast on a barbeque accompanied by the rhythm of a steel band.
