CANADA HOLIDAYS

The world’s second largest country, Canada is the visit of a lifetime. Breathtaking natural scenery, unique wildlife, and vibrant cities make it a great destination for a life-enriching trip. With 5 distinct regions that can all be visited within one trip or broken down and explored in detail for shorter stays, there’s something to entice everyone. Although its scale is quite something, Canada can be comfortably explored by air or by rail.

And from Toronto’s bright lights to vibrant Vancouver, Canada boasts a collection of exciting cities.

TORONTO AND NIAGRA FALLS

Vancouver’s great, Montreal’s a treat but we would highlight Toronto as a Canadian city destination. In just a 7 hours’ flight time you can be in a city with an iconic skyline, overlooking one of America’s Great Lakes and with the friendliest of locals. Soar up the CN Tower before hitting the restaurants of the historic Distillery District then visit the mighty Niagra Falls. You can visit the Falls on a day trip from Toronto, or spend a night or two in Niagara itself, there is plenty to keep you busy after dark!

CANADA RAIL JOURNEYS

The west of Canada lends itself perfectly to rail travel and the region is home to some of the most spectacular rail routes on earth, including the famous ‘Rocky Mountaineer’. There are four routes that can easily be added to any Canada itinerary: Vancouver to Jasper via Kamloops, Vancouver to Lake Louise or Banff via Kamloops, Vancouver to Jasper via Whistler and Quensel, or the fabulous Coastal Passage operating between Seattle and Vancouver, connecting the USA and the Canadian Rockies.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

Lovingly referred to by its initials BC, British Columbia is Canada’s western-most province and the one where the great outdoors is always calling. It’s clear to see why this region is a favourite with nature lovers! Between dramatic coast and Pacific islands in the west to soaring peaks of the Rocky Mountains at its eastern edge, there are mountains, valleys, wildlife-abundant forests and vast empty spaces and many adventures and activities including skiing, hiking, watersports and mountain biking.
