Africa’s landscapes and wildlife are undoubtedly its main attraction. Mount Kilimanjaro is a must see and there are a variety of challenging yet achievable routes to the summit. A hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti is also not to be missed - the breath-taking views will provide you with a whole new perspective.

Tanzania offers a range of options varying from island hoping across the turquoise waters to a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, not to mention spotting the tree climbing lions around Lake Manyara. A glimpse of nesting turtles and hammerhead sharks are also a possibility. Impressive accommodation, warm and welcoming locals, remarkable scenery and magnificent game viewing are all located within the ancient land of Zimbabwe.

Mozambique was once a Portuguese colony with has retained much of its colonial charm which manifests through the food, architecture and culture. Whilst diving in the country’s waters you will catch sight of spectacular marine life and coral reefs. The unrivalled Gonarezhou National Park, combined with the Kruger and Limpopo parks, is a sensational area of wilderness allowing free movement for animals within the three reserves. KENYA AND BOTSWANA SAFARI HOLIDAYS

Madagascar has no parallel: an extraordinary storehouse of natural and cultural riches, it makes experienced travellers question what it means to say a country is unique. As a result of its split from the main land Africa some 165 million years ago, the wildlife on Madagascar is a staggering 80% endemic. Consequently, it is a strong claimant for offering the most extraordinary wildlife holidays on the planet.

We highly recommend a nature resort on the tropical island of Sainte Marie which features a rum distillery and a range of activities.

SOUTH AFRICA AND CAPE TOWN

South Africa is vast, varied and vibrant.
